Built from the amazing TIMESLIP CREATIONS kit, (originally offered HERE), artist Dan Grumeretz continues this build for the Kuhn Global / Modeler Magic Collection. This WIP is of the Officer’s Lounge that faces the rear of the bridge dome of the Enterprise, where all the windows are. The TimeSlip kit is correct to the studio model and is top notch. For our build, we deviate from the studio scale original, and this we wanted to show what is being done. Instead, we want to match the Lounge as we saw the Actors within… thus the change. Looking at capture stills from both the film release, and enhanced composites and digital models from different artists of The Motion Picture Refit, Dan’s WIP is looking great so far. It is rather difficult to see how tiny this is, even at the huge studio scale size! You get an idea with the pencil Dan placed in a few photos below. Dan will be placing Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and Doctor McCoy in as you see them in the film captures.
