Star Trek Studio Models at the Seattle EMP Trek Exhibition from Adam Schneider

Mega Collector’s Adam Schneider, and Paul Allen recently allowed their Collection to be placed on display in Seattle! Adam sent me these photos, along with some notes…

Studio Scale Phase II Enterprise Refit: This is the Phase II converted to TMP, from my dry dock.  Its 6 foot long.  And really lovely – a great conversion was done.  We tried to have Excelsior and Enterprise-E lit, but EMP could not manage it on their display stand.  (it’s not like they take a simple plug, its COMPLICATED.)

The First Contact 1701-E: She’s 11 feet long, 4 feet wide. About 18 inches tall. If she looks small, it is because that is a LARGE room.

The USS Excelsior: This is one done for Voyager, where Sulu was in the episode – “Flashback”. It is NOT the 8 foot model which was sold (relabeled) at Christie’s 2006. It is about 40 inches long. Again, had hoped to light her up, but…

Deep Space Nine: That’s Paul Allen’s from Christie’s. Based on what I have, should be 6 feet in diameter. YES, I have another one – I took the “partial” at Christie’s and finished it.

The Phoenix: This is mine. If you separate the stages, about 8 feet tall.

Romulan Warbird: This is mine and is about 40 inches. I don’t have an exact size. Note Christie’s sold one also – Greg Jein actually made two, the original (mine), and the Tal Shiar version (same model, some different details) that Christie’s sold. You’d be hard pressed to know the difference.

The Enterprise Borg Sliced Hull Model: This is mine. It is about 8” tall.

The Ferengi Marauder: This is mine and is the original filming model restored. Again about 3 feet / 40 inches.

6 foot 1701-D: The 1701-D is the TV studio model – the details just don’t look as refined as the E. Paul Allen’s.

Thank you Adam for the great share! You and Paul have beautiful Collections!
