Up for sale is this unique masterpattern of the Peacemaker created by Greg Jein, for the movie “Deal of the Century”, starring Chevy Chase and Sigourney Weaver. Two sizes of the Peacemaker were made, this is the smaller one. As the bigger one is more known (and the fact the movie is somewhat obscure), Greg confirmed in talks with Don Pennington of the existence of this smaller miniature.

I got it about 10 years ago, when advertised as a complete miniature. Upon arrival, i discovered the seller had “cut off the wings, to save on shipping”….. One of the biggest facepalms i encountered in all these years…..

Of interest are the building techniques (resin clad foam, acrylic wings, glue ‘rivets’ and wooden dowels in the wingroot). It is 78 cm long.
