MARINA SIRTIS: The Steel City Con is proud to announce that we have just added a major STAR TREK guest for the upcoming July show. Marina Sirtis is best known for her role as “DEANNA TROI” on the television series STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION and the four feature films that followed.
Sirtis appeared in all seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and her character was developed from a more passive therapist to tougher Starfleet officer.
Sirtis has also reprised her character of Deanna Troi in the feature films, Star Trek Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002). She also appeared in Star Trek: Voyager for three episodes toward the end of the series (1999 and 2000) and also in the series finale of Star Trek: Enterprise (2005).
TOM KANE: Tom Kane is most widely know for his
animation work. Notable roles are JEDI MASTER YODA and ADMIRAL YULAREN in STAR WARS: CLONE WARS feature film and TV series; The Chancellor in Tim Burton’s 9, Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men and Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds; Iron Man and Ultron in Next Avengers: Tom Kane is also a prominent video game voice actor, appearing on numerous titles including major roles such as Gandalf and Professor X, and lead characters in almost every Star Wars game ever made. In the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed he was “on-camera” as Imperial Captain Ozzik Sturn, Lobot, and also Kento Marek, the father of the protagonist: Galen Marek (Sam Witwer). His most recent performance was as Odin, Thor and Loki’s father in the video game adaption of Thor, replacing Anthony Hopkins from the film.

“ROWDY” RODDY PIPER: In professional wrestling, he is best known for his work with the WWE. He is billed as coming from Glasgow in Scotland and known for his signature kilt and bagpipe entrance music. He earned the nickname “Rowdy” by displaying his trademark “Scottish” rage. Despite being a crowd favorite for his rockstar-like persona, he often played the villain. He was also nicknamed “Hot Rod”. He accumulated 34 championships in various promotions during his career. Piper was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

ERIC ROBERTS: Film star from THE DARK KNIGHT & THE EXPENDABLES! Eric Roberts is an American Actor who through the 1990’s and 2000’s has maintained dramatic film and TV roles. His TV work includes three seasons with the sitcom Less Than Perfect and a recurring role on the NBC drama HEROES. His sisters JULIA ROBERTS and LISA ROBERTS GILLIAN, and daughter EMMA ROBERTS, are also actors.
JETT LUCAS– Jett Lucas, the son of George Lucas, has cameos in both STAR WARS: ATTACK OF THE CLONES and STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH as a young JEDI PADAWAN named ZETT JUKASSA. Jett inspired the name of the Star Wars Gungan species. Jett is credited as an Intern in the Video Game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars (TV series), the character Ion Papanoida is based on him. If you are a Star Wars fan you will NOT want to miss this rare appearance!
LAINIE KAZAN – American Actress Lainie Kazan appeared in numerous TV and Film roles including her recurring role as Aunt Freida on the Fran Drescher sitcom The Nanny and as Kirstie Alley‘s mother on Veronica’s Closet, and guest shots on St. Elsewhere (resulting in an Emmy nomination). She was featured in the hit film MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING. She has also appeared with co-star Kevin James in three episodes of his THE KING OF QUEENS TV series as the once-renowned singer Ava St. Clair. She also appeared in Season 7 of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, playing the role of a self-employed business owner and neighbor to Susan.
ERNIE HUDSON – Best known for his role as Winston Zeddemore in the GHOSTBUSTERS Film series as well as Sergeant Albrecht in THE CROW, and Warden Leo Glynn on HBO‘s OZ. Recently, Hudson has had a small recurring role as Jay’s friend Miles on the American comedy TV series MODERN FAMILY.
THEODUS CRANE –
WALKING DEAD fans will not want to miss this special appearance. Theodus portrayed Big Tiny in AMC‘s THE WALKING DEAD. He started his professional acting career in 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. He has performed on stage, in burlesque and vaudeville shows, and sideshow acts, and began his film and TV career in 2010. Theodus is also a fighter and holds the amateur world heavyweight title in San Shou, a Chinese form of kickboxing.
JAMES BEST– An American actor best known for his role as bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the CBS television series THE DUKES OF HAZZARD. He has also worked as an acting coach, artist, college professor, and musician.
MARTA KRISTEN – An American Actress best known her role as Judy Robinson, the daughter of Professor John and Maureen Robinson, in the television series LOST IN SPACE (1965-1968). Marta played the part of the space family’s eldest child near the age group of the space pilot, played by Mark Goddard.
