NCC-1371… the USS Republic! This was the vessel James T Kirk and Benjamin Finney did their training cruise aboard when a huge accident happened. This, of course, led to the strained relationship between the two men… and the eventually false accusation against Capt. Kirk for Finney’s faked death in “Court Martial”.
This fantastic Round 2 (Ertl) was built to resemble that fantastic ship by artist David Shaw! It is beautiful!
