This model started as the Alfred Wong patterned studio scale SMT kit. Since it was a little different in detail than the actual studio model used in the 1978 film, and the 1979 series Battlestar Galactica, myself and artist Marc Elkins decided to build this beast as the Presidential shuttle of the Battlestar Atlantia! Marc did a beautiful job with the unique markings on this piece, not to mention the fully detailed interior that can only be seen by looking through the glass windows he installed! I was honored to have this be the first piece in over a year that is leading me back to the Blue Screen photography I so love in this art form.
