We established the term “Super Scale” with the amazing Lasse Henning 1:18 Vader X-1 TIE Fighter. Now we are establishing yet another term in “Mega Scale” with the double studio scale sized AT-AT’s!! They are GIGANTIC!! Now… “Drool!” This is the second word that describes these two amazing builds by Marc Elkins and something I began to immediately do when these photos appeared in front of me! Built from the amazing, yet now extinct MSLZ22 Kit, these are two of only ten produced in the world, making them extremely valuable as collectibles! And even less than that 10 have actually been built! These pieces are completely BAD ASS, especially with the attention to detail that Marc placed into them! He wanted these to look like they were the filming models… and he beyond succeeded! He even added dark acrylic glass in the cockpit for the window!! Marc continued adding several parts to make it even more accurately detailed than even the fantastic kits parts that were provided. Part of Marc’s build passion is due to him being a collector as well! One of these two AT-AT’s is his! These “Mega Scale” beasts are about the size of Great Danes, which make them to scale with the Hasbro AT-ST Toy, and the old Monogram Snowspeeder kits! Marc did a fantastic job! These will soon make their way to the gallery studio for Blue Screen shots and white matte photography to show them the way everyone wishes to see the… in action!
