ESB Rebel Transport – Scratch Build by Sylvain Beignet, Now in the Hector Rosales Collection

Conceptual Design and Build Artist Sylvain BEIGNET has produced another fantastic piece! This time Sylvain decided to do a Scratch and Bash build of the Rebel Transport as seen in The Empire Strikes Back! This is a marvelous build by an excellent artist that now resides in the fantastic collection of M.r Hector Rosales!

I’m Sylvain BEIGNET

I want to show a few pictures of my rebel transport. It’s not a big ship, but it took a long time to make this model.
This began as the MPC Rebel Transport model kit included with the Rebel Base diorama. If you know this diorama, you can imagine the poor details on the transport. Thus I decided to keep only the upper and lower hulls, then scratch build 90 % of the ship. The containers are made in resin, and all parts came from old model kits I possessed.
