Nearly a decade ago in 2008, Scottish artist, and pattern maker, Barry Murray made his own, fantastic ETA Fighter design! Custom crafted from another model, Barry designed this piece to go along with a Hyperspace Sled. He masterfully crafted the fighter to connect via the engines with magnets strong enough to hold the entire craft! His design was based off what he believed Darth Vader’s ETA Fighter would have looked like soon after he was encased in his dark armor, and during his search to destroy the remaining Jedi. I was able to photograph this piece back in 2008, and as of 2011, it resides in the Hector Rosales Collection! It is a fantastic, one of a kind creation! I love it!
