Using the fantastic Green Screen photos of the AMT kit build that professional modeler Steve Jurgens did, another artist, David Shaw placed this model seamlessly into two very recognizable scenes from Star Trek VI – The Undiscovered Country. One of the major parts that make these beautiful is Davids use of shadow… which is difficult to match to scenery. Beautiful work!

This first Composite is just after the Klingon Moon “Praxis” explodes, sending a huge wave that rocks the new Excelsior to it’s core!
This second Composite is during the final battle with General Chang in his newly developed Bird Of Prey. You can see one of the photon torpedoes flying across the bow of the Excelsior!
