“Observing IO” Composite Art by Kurt Kuhn & Andrew Creighton

After taking blue screen photographs of the 5.5 foot Atomic City Models Discovery (which now resides in Mr. Robert Fish’s Collection) I immediately got the idea in my head of what I wanted to show as the composite art for it. I found a hi-res photo of Jupiter with it’s moon IO as taken from one of our real NASA spacecraft, and then posed the Discovery model in front of it. About five days later, very talented and professional modeler Andrew Creighton  sent me his submission composite for the Discovery….. almost exactly the same as my own! Therefore… since our minds think alike…. I wanted to show this piece as being from both he and I. It just goes to show how much commonality we all have with regard to these fantastic works of art! I LOVE IT!

So… without further delay…. we give you…. “OBSERVING IO”!
