This Miniature is fully scratch built, and based around the 2 concept art pieces from the Making of TFA book. This was a digital asset and never used in the end, also never built by the team at Pinewood. After lengthy chats with with ILM Concept Artist, Chris Bonura, I went to work on it.
It’s made with the same style of building that ILM would have used back in the day, based around a Saturn V can, and painted a little more real world as it is a display piece, not a filming miniature. It has 3 mount positions, so you can display it in tilt mode which gives a better view of the underside. It is made of aluminium, acrylic and ABS structure with hundreds of kit parts for its detail.

I hope to have a base designed soon with signed plaques from ILM Concept Artist Chris Bonura, whom designed the Concept SKIFF.
Price is being determined for this possible offering, as each will be scratch built. THEY ARE NOT KITS. Much work goes into the. It’s approx 2 feet long and is extremely light for being mostly plastic.
