Materials: Mostly 3D printed resin, uses LED lighting controlled by an Arduino. Includes a power adapter that plugs in to the bottom. Lighting is wirelessly controlled by Bluetooth using a controller that I made for it or by an Android app that can be installed on an Android phone or tablet.

Parts: Uses over 200 parts, the only parts that aren’t 3D printed are the antenna wires which are piano wire.

Shipping: USA Only. The speeder has a printed box with custom-cut foam and spots for the accessories. The acrylic cover and the base will be shipped in another box and then the remote control in another since it has a rechargeable lithium battery.

Description: This is the speeder that Anakin uses when chasing after Zam Wessel in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. I always liked the design and had wanted to make a really detailed 3D model of it. While doing that I kept in mind that I wanted to 3D print it some day. Over the years I experimented with several different 3D printers before settling on one that could do what I wanted. I spent a lot of time doing the whole project which involved a lot of design work. Hundreds of hours went into making it and trying to get it to look as good as possible.

It is fully lit with LED’s with separate controls. You can control the interior, headlights, and exhaust. There’s also an animated OLED display in the dashboard which can be turned on and off.

The replica includes everything needed for display: a support post for the front, display base with holes run through it so you can plug the power cable in. There’s also a cap that goes over the plug on the bottom when the power isn’t connected. A clear acrylic cover is included that fits with the base. It also includes custom packing and foam protection for the speeder.
