(28 Inch Diameter!!) at 1/4 & 1/6 Cockpit Kits
I am making a 1/4 and 1/6 scale version of the cockpit console and cockpit. The project includes an assortment of material to include MDF, acrylic and resin 3D printed parts. The cockpit is an impressive 28 inches in diameter! I’m in the final stages and will begin offering a kit for both the 1/4 and 1/6 scales! Here are a few images of the progress made on the 1/4 scale console, cockpit and nav computer!
Remember… all these images are of the 1/4 scale – not the full scale. The images sometimes fool even me.

Also, here is an update on the Full Scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit replica!
The cockpit had fallen out of public eye (Conventions) because we really wanted to hunker down and get the cockpit right. I moved the project to a large warehouse space where we spent many years refitting almost every panel, got most of the wiring done and even had the seats upholstered and mounted. Earlier this year, with the help of some amazing people, we reached the point where we could finally showcase the cockpit! Even better, I teamed up with some Dallas, TX based prop builders who have been willing to tackle some of the larger updates – new canopy and skin. Our first show of 2018 was the Museum of Science Fiction Con in Wash DC and then 2 more shows in Dallas – Galactic Swag and Dallas Fan Days! All 3 were a hit with the fans and I was able to meet up with and geek out with many followers of the project. It’s been a LOT of fun.
For those who would like to follow the build please join us at the Replica Prop Forum! Also, I’ll be starting a YouTube Channel VERY soon with the idea to highlight all the different projects I’m working on to include the full scale cockpit, the nav computer and other Star Wars related awesomeness!
