My Rogue Leader Studio Scale Snowspeeder, from my own collection. Due to a few changes in direction, a lack of space, she is now for sale. This model was finished some years ago and has been on display for a while. Derived from a Nice-N Model Designs kit, the model has had a few mods carried out, the cockpit was made closer to the original filming mini, with a faux armature bar, and she sits on a Panavise mount, which threads into a 6mm large alloy plate tapped into the lower hull, a very sturdy mount point, this model does have some weight, the MR model was only 3/4 of this girls full size. The hulls were also reinforced inside before joining with flat alloy bar, to negate any possible warping. The canopy was a one of scratch built affair, i never did see the kit canopy as fully correct in profile. Finished in Tamiya acrylics, i tried to convey this model as she sits today in the archives, warts, overpsray and all, hence the harpoon gun was never added, but can be included and finished if required. This is a large heavy model, and UK collection would be pretty wise. Did plan on a new acrylic base for her, just never got around to it, so for now she sits on a wooden round black base. A floor standing mount could also be arranged, just depends on how one would wish to display her.
