1:200 Klingon Bird of Prey built by Christian Söder

Built from a WARP Models resin kit, Christian Soder did a wonderful job capturing the look of the famed Klingon Bird of Prey. This piece went into the collection of Tobias Richter, whom also took the fantastic photos of it.

Here is what Tobias had to say…

I got this heap of resin from a friend, Carsten Sommer, back a couple of years ago. Since I didn´t felt quite up to the task of such a huge model – having never before worked with resin – I turned to Christian Söder, who did a beautiful job with the buildup and painting – getting just the right amount of color, weathering and rust to it.

I brought this to a Trek convention last year and have the base signed by H.G. Hertzler (klingon general Martok) and Robert O´Reilly (klingon chancellor Gowron).
