This beautiful piece is from professional miniaturist Paul Lubliner! The SEAVIEW is one of the most recognizable models from the Irwin Allen adventure series of the 60’s and 70’s. For my friend Rob McFarlane, here are some photos of the Proteus Studio Model taken in front of a green screen for FX. This is the actual filming model used in Fantastic Voyage, restored by Greg Jien, and is now in the Collection of Paul Allen!

Believe it or not this 3 1/8″ long model is studio scale. They would use one for wide shots.
The base for the kit is 4 1/2″ long. It’s great for those of you who don’t have the space, or don’t like big kits.
