NCC-1371… the USS Republic! This was the vessel James T Kirk and Benjamin Finney did their training cruise aboard when a huge accident happened. This, of course, led to the strained relationship between the two men… and the eventually false accusation against Capt. Kirk for Finney’s faked death in “Court Martial”.

This diorama is one I have not seen done before today! The face off between Cdr. Kruge’s BOP and the empty Enterprise above the Genesis planet! Still beautiful after her encounter with Khan and Reliant, she sets with her sides and saucer patched with welded plating! This piece even has laser for phaser effects! Outstanding! [...]
