This is one of my all time favorite Jet Fighter Aircraft… the F4J!! The dual turbine beasts really lit up the sky above my home when I was a kid. This beautiful build by Warren…. well… it really brought back cool memories! Thanks Warren!

Before working on science fiction models as he is doing currently, artist Ray Lawson II mastered many builds that encompassed many different genre’s… like this WWII beauty… the F4U!!!

Warren did a fantastic job replicating this aircraft. The Ar 196 was a shipboard reconnaissance aircraft built by the German firm Arado starting in 1936. The next year it was selected as the winner of a design contest, and became the standard aircraft of the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) throughout World War II. Nicely done.
